Jamal Azhigiry


 5-time European Wushu champion (1992, 1994), 7-time European Wushu champion (2004, 2008), 10-time Russian champion.  Master of sports of international class, coach of the highest category in Wushu, winner of the European Cup (1993).

 Jamal Azhigerey (Jamal Azhigerey) Born on May 14, 1972 in Makhachkala.  By nationality Kumyk.  He studied freestyle wrestling, judo, karate.  Wushu began to study in 1986.  Trainers: Ataev Abdul-Kadyr Arslanovich, Ogay Eric Pavlovich.  In 1991 he graduated from the Art College.  Jemala specializing in graphic design.  World-class master of sports, top-level trainer in Wushu, 10-time champion of Russia, 12-time European champion in Wushu, winner of world championships in Wushu.  Jamal owns several Wushu styles, among which Bagua's style has received particular recognition.

 The history of the Jamal school began in 2000, when at the Wing Chun club on the metro station Kiev, Jamal dialed his first group in Tai Chi Chuan.  Already in 2004, his team successfully performed at the European Championships in St. Petersburg and since then at two more European Championships (France, Paris - 2006; Sweden, Linkoping - 2008) and three Russian Championships (Orel - 2006,  2007 and 2008) students of the school have won many gold awards.  In 2005, it was necessary to leave the club, which has already become historic; some of the plots of the films “Lotus Blow-2.3” were shot there.  Training continued at Moscow Budokan, there was a Wushu children group there, then there was a hall on Proletarskaya metro station, and in 2006 a young-chun group appeared in the Open World center.

 In September 2007, the school had its own base - a new club, the School of Martial Arts of Jamal Azhigirey, opened in Zhukovka.

Now the school has classes in 4 areas: Tai Chi Chuan, Yong Chun, children's Wushu, yoga.  And also for children and adults: drawing class, modern dance.

 The club is decorated with Jamal's artwork, and he worked with his students and friends on the club’s original design.
