Phillip Rhee is a legendary martial artist, filmmaker, philosopher, and just the Wonderful Man - Phillip RheePhillip Rhee was born on September 7, 1960 in Seoul, South Korea.  Being the son of a famous martial artist in Asia, so the boy began studying martial arts from the age of 4.  He has an older brother, Simon, who, having suffered a severe form of meningitis at a fairly early age, also began to diligently engage in martial arts, as a result of which the disease receded.  As a child, Philip and his family moved to the United States, San Francisco, where they continued to practice martial arts.  Currently, Phillip Rhee is the owner of the black belt 6 dan in Taekwondo, black belt 3 dan in Hapkido and black belt 1 dan in Kendo.  He is also a specialist in Wing Chun and boxing.  From childhood, Phillip dreamed of doing a movie like his uncle.  This could not but affect his future fate, since the young Phillip was always interested in cinematography, at the same time realizing that for most foreigners, Hollywood remains an unstoppable peak.  But Phillip didn’t stop it.  So, armed with a movie camera and his own script, Phillip began to look for means for the filming of his first low-budget film.  Then, in the Hollywood film industry, an acquaintance with the famous producer Peter Strauss took place, Phillip Ree began to engage in his first serious project, the film "Best of the Best", where he himself played a major role.  The film was a huge success.  Soon the screens will be continued.  After this film, Phillip Ree became world famous.  Recently, Phillip Ree has moved away from the main roles, and began to produce series and films for children and families.  He believes that cinema can positively influence young people and teach them morality and internal stability.  Now his films are distributed around the world under the brands of such film companies as "Sony Pictures", "20th Century Fox", "BBC" and "Miramax / Dimension Films" and are widely popular.
