Jia-Hui Liu. Gordon Liu

 

Chia-Hui Liu is a Chinese actor and martial arts master.
Jia-Hui Liu (Chia-Hui Liu) or Gordon Liu (Gordon Liu) was born on August 22, 1951, Leo according to the zodiacal horoscope and cat (rabbit) according to the Chinese. Gordon Liu was born in Guangdong, a province in southern China. Guangdong is located south of the Nanling Mountains on the South China Sea coast and borders the special administrative areas of Hong Kong (Xianggang) and Macau, as well as the provinces of Guangxi, Hunan, Jiangxi, Fujian and Hainan. He began practicing martial arts at an early age and often skipped school to learn wushu.

Liu trained at Lau Cham's martial arts school in the Hong Gar discipline, which descended from the great disciple Wong Fei Vicel (Lau Kar Leung's father).

Lau Cham's wife assisted in his training, and because of the friendship and respect he had for his teacher and his wife, he took the name Lau Ka-fai. Gordon Liu could not make ends meet and so he found work as a clerk. But he was always drawn to martial arts and was once spotted by the famous director and actor Lau Kar-liang (Liu Jia-liang).

Liu has been married twice. He has two daughters from his first marriage and a son and daughter from his second marriage.

In August 2011, during a performance at Kwa Wan, Gordon Liu fell and hit his head. He had

suffered a stroke, which left Liu with a speech impairment and partial right-sided paralysis. Since then, he has been unable to move around on his own and requires a wheelchair. In June 2012 Liu decided to divorce his second wife and is in a nursing home.
