Jason Statham

Jason Statham is an English martial arts actor.

Jason Statham was born July 26, 1967 in Shirebrook, England. In the family of a lounge singer and a dressmaker who later became a dancer. Jason was their second son. He grew up in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk and was trained in the art of street theater. At school, he played soccer from 1978 to 1983 and was a diver. Jason was a member of the British national diving team for twelve years.

He earned his money by selling perfume and jewelry on the street, sport was only a hobby for him.

Jason's father was a boxer and gymnast who loved martial arts and taught him what he knows himself.

Jason does Brazilian jiu-jitsu with Guy Ritchie.

Once an advertising agent who worked with athletes invited him in the late nineties to star in an ad for Tommy Hilfiger jeans.

For a role in the movie "Parchment, Money, Two Guns" Jason was recommended to the director by the owner of Tommy Hilfiger, and so began his career in the movie industry.
