Jacky Wu

 


Born: April 3, 1974, in Beijing, China, he is a Chinese actor and martial arts master.

Wu Jing, better known as Jacky Wu, was born April 3, 1974 in Beijing, China. Wu Jing, following the family tradition (the boy's father and grandfather were masters of martial arts), began studying martial arts at the age of six in Beijing Wushu Academy. As a student in 1995 he was invited to star in a movie, an invitation Wu received from the famous martial arts director Yuen Woo-ping. Jackie Woo made his debut in 1996 in a Hong Kong film called "Master of Tai Chi 2" ("Tai ji quan"). In subsequent years, he starred in films both in mainland China and in Hong Kong. Wu Jing played the main male role in 2007, or rather a double role, in the excellent film "Mission of the twins" ("Seung chi sun tau"). As a director Jackie Woo tried his hand in March 2008, he was directed by "Legendary Assassin" ("Long nga"). Also in 2008 Wu Jing took an important step in his film career by co-starring in the adventure film The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor with Jet Li and Brendan Fraser.
